We will be using the following structure to run these classes.
Each student brings bag with hand sanitizer and water bottle
Hands sanitized before class, and at end of class
Mats cleaned as needed
Each station at least 6 feet apart
Teachers fully masked over nose and mouth during entire class
Each station numbered to be easily identified by student
Each student starts on a numbered station, rotates to next station when called by teacher
Students remain spread out throughout class, not in lines next to each other
Physical distancing from teacher. Teacher will verbally instruct what to do on each station and when to rotate from one station to the next
If teacher needs to rarely physically spot a student, minimal time and contact used
Teacher will instruct the student how to make the station either more or less challenging depending on individual needs
If Rec Center Staff does not approve, parents and spectators would be limited or not allowed.
Our tumbling classes will work on many different skills and progressions. Students will be working on their strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness throughout the skill levels. We will use various mats and stations to give the students many ways to work on their tumbling skills. We will also incorporate balance into the class through the use of balance beams and other balancing skills.
Preschool (3-4 year olds)

This class will work on the basic tumbling skills, including forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and balance, coordination, and body awareness.
Level 1 (5-12 year olds) 4:30 &5:15
This class is for those with little or no previous tumbling experience. We will work on forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, backbends, and balance, coordination, and body awareness.
Level Two (5-12 year olds) 4:30 & 5:15
This class is for those who can already do a cartwheel, a backbend, and a round-off. This class will work on perfecting these skills and building on them up through back handsprings. We will incorporate balance, coordination, and body awareness skills.
