About Our Staff
At Bailie's we look for great people who love kids
Staff Training
All of our Staff Members are trained with Managers and other Staff Members before being allowed to teach classes alone. We have a DVD library that Staff Members complete so that everyone is familiar with our
"Fun and Fit" curriculum and is on the same page about what to teach. We also require all of our staff to attend regular Staff Meetings and Workshops in order to improve their skills.
Safety Certification
Bailie's Gymnastics uses "USA Gymnastics University"
and the "GymCert" programs to certify and train our staff.
The certification of gymnastics coaches will provide a better and safer environment for gymnastics athletes and raise the standard of gymnastics coaches.
The Fun & Fit Curriculum
The Progressive Teaching Curriculum: Kids learn best when taught in small steps! The heart of the program is a well designed Progressive Teaching Curriculum that breaks gymnastics skills down into achievable steps that provide sound basics, along with frequent success, for the recreational student. Research has shown that frequent success is what keeps youngsters motivated to learn. There are separate curriculum cards for:
Kids Progressive ( Girls & Boys ages 3-4 yrs. / with 5 Skill Levels )
Girls Progressive ( 5-18 yrs. / with 6 Skill Levels)
Instructor Training Videos: We have all our instructors teaching the same skills, the same way!Our instructors are consistent when teaching and passing the curriculum skills because they are all trained with our training videos. The videos show real students demonstrating the skills. with additional, lead ups, SAFETY concerns and spotting tips by Jeff Lulla, founder and president of Fun & Fit Gymnastics.
Star Posters: This System is only Available in the South Valley at Bailie's.
Team kids get ribbons and trophies, but class kids work hard to learn their skills too, we wanted them to have something to show for it. Our professionally printed Star Posters created for each level of the program, keep kids. and parents, motivated and excited about learning gymnastics. The posters are displayed on their wall at home, and they place a star next to the skills as they pass them. When they complete a Level, they get a new Star Poster for the next Level.
